2019 Tempranillo/Malbec (Cherrynose)

Settling on the 60/40 blend, we believe, hits the perfect balance as the deep smoothness of the Tempranillo softens and rounds the often sharp-edged acidity often present in Texas-produced Malbec wines. The nose presents with ripe red cherries and a hint of green pepper and the palate confirms those and adds a notes of plum and black peppercorn. Firm and medium-bodied with tight tannins and balanced acidity a lengthy finish is anticipated.
