2019 Cab / Tannat

A wine inspired by the big, bold blends common to various appellations in the southwest of France.  Tannat continues to grow in popularity in Texas and the combination of our (relatively) young vines and the grapes naturally aggressive tannins can present as too astringent unless properly aged (4-7 years).  To tame the acidity we've blended a delightful TX Cabernet Sauvignon, the  resulting character of sweet space. plum and blackcurrant speak for themselves!
